Wesley-Barrell is delighted to announce their first concession in Kendal based ‘lifestore’, Armstrong Ward owned by husband and wife team Andrew and Jacqueline Ward.
Isabel Barrell, Managing Director of Wesley-Barrell explains the rationale behind the partnership. ‘Andrew worked at Wesley-Barrell for many years and was a very successful manager in both Nottingham and Harrogate. He and Jacqueline have put together a very attractive lifestore concept in Armstrong Ward and they have a great understanding of the Wesley-Barrell brand and proposition. We believe the showroom offers the perfect environment for our furniture collection and we are very excited about this opportunity to reach a new customer base that we currently do not serve.’

From South/North M6 - Junction 36
Exit at junction 36 and take slip road left heading towards Kendal/Barrow/Kirkby Lonsdale A65/A590. At roundabout, take 1st exit onto A590 and continue straight onto the A591 Kendal. Take slip road left heading towards Kendal and continue on this road which leads into the town centre on the A6 heading towards Highgate. Keep in the right hand lane and once you reach the traffic lights in the town centre turn right down Lowther Street, follow this road down and round onto Blackhall Road. Keep in the left hand lane and at the traffic lights turn left onto Sandes Avenue/A5284. At the end of Sandes Avenue turn immediately left back into the town centre and follow this round right onto Library Road. This will take you past Marks & Spencers and will wind round into Wainwrights Yard where there is pay and display parking. Armstrong Ward Lifestore is on your left hand side.
