These terms and conditions apply for on-line orders only.
All Wesley-Barrell (Witney) Ltd items are sold subject to these terms and conditions. We advise you to print and retain a copy for your records. Terms and conditions are governed by English law and both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.
Placing your order
When placing your order, we will require:
Name Card holders’ billing address Delivery address (if different to billing address)
Credit/debit card number and card issue and expiry date (card details are secure and not retained)
Contact telephone number(s)
Payment in full is required at the time of purchase in Pounds Sterling and is inclusive of VAT. Your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it, subject to your rights of cancellation (see below). Once your order has been despatched, the completion of the contract between Wesley-Barrell (Witney) Ltd and yourself takes place.
We may not be able to fulfil any obligations due to the following reasons:
The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a pricing or product description error
Customers who fail to reach any order criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions.
Should there be a problem with your order you will be contacted by our sales team at the earliest opportunity.
The following minimum charging structure will apply
Post (National UK) - £5.00
Courier – (National) small parcel - £10.00
Courier – (National) large parcel - £20.00
Courier - (National) fragile parcel - £20.00
Van – (England & Wales mainland post codes only) 1 person delivery £50 for orders of £750 or above
Van – (England & Wales mainland post codes only) 2 person delivery £95 for orders of £750 or above
Direct delivery from our supplier - £20.00
If an order consists of multiple items then the largest delivery charge only will apply. Some products may attract an additional weight or packaging surcharge and this is indicated at the item page. Total delivery charges will be clearly indicated in your shopping basket prior to check out. Delivery is free on furniture orders over £8,000 (excluding 'sold as seen' items) when arranged within our standard weekday delivery schedule to mainland English postcodes. An additional charge may apply for van deliveries to mainland Scotland, Isle of Weight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or off shore Scottish postcodes - you will be contacted by our sales team for a quote. We do not accept orders for delivery outside the UK please contact us regarding your enquiry at: @wesley-barrell.co.uk or by telephone on 01993 893111 for further help and information.
For larger items our delivery team will assess whether they can physically manoeuvre the item and will be happy to place it in the room you require, providing the items pass freely through the spaces provided. It is your responsibility to ensure furniture or larger pieces pass freely through doors, passageways, stairs and awkward corners or turns. All our products have clear dimensions and if you required additional help place contact our team.
Bank Holiday Free Delivery:
This promotion does not cover Lights, Accessories and Mirrors, but can be used for upholstery and furniture only and will be usable for a limited time.
The code can be used in showrooms, website and telephone purchases
Returns (excluding furniture made to order & clearance items)
Whilst we hope you will be delighted with your order, we understand that you may want to return some items. You have up to 7 days from receipt to contact us. When returning goods you should ensure that they are returned to us unused in the original packaging and in the condition in which you received them. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 01993 893111 to arrange collection. Our standard delivery charges will apply for this service. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in a ‘returns’ transport. We cannot be responsible for interest charges made by your credit card company whilst waiting for returns to be refunded to your card.
Upholstered furniture made to order
Please note that your right to return items within 14 days does not apply to items that are made to order for you nor for sold as seen clearance items, for which we are unable to accept returns or give refunds. This does not affect your legal rights in relation to any products that are faulty or not as described.
Liability, except for death or personal injury caused by Wesley-Barrell (Witney) Ltd’s negligent acts or omissions, shall only be liable for any loss or damage which is a reasonably foreseeable consequence of a breach of this agreement. Nothing mentioned in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights in the unlikely event that the goods do not meet a standard requirement by law.
For orders placed in-store
Customers have 7 days 'grace' to cancel an order and receive a full refund of the deposit paid, if no materials have been received and no work has been started. However, after this time Wesley-Barrell will not cancel any orders and no monies will be refunded. Customers are only entitled to a full refund if the piece of furniture has been made incorrectly, i.e. incorrect fabric used or if the piece has been manufactured to the wrong dimensions. In the event of the piece bing damaged during delivery, Wesley-Barrell will repair/replace the itme within a reasonable period of time.
Sofa Amnesty terms & conditions
Sofa Amnesty: When you trade in your old sofa (or armchair) and receive a 20% discount in return, we will arrange collection free of charge to be at the same time as delivery of your new sofa (or armchair). We will then donate all suitable trade-in furniture to Sue Ryder for resale at their UK stores. Furniture which has been traded in becomes the property of Wesley Barrell at the time of collection and will not be returned to the customer in the event of subsequent purchase being returned. This does not affect your statutory rights. Not in conjunction with any other offer and discount offer is not applicable to the New Generation range. This offer may be withdrawn at any time and without notice.
Voucher Discount Codes
We occasionally offer discounts in magazine and online publications, where a code is given which must be quoted in order to enjoy the discount offered. The code is valid for the amount of discount or £ saving as shown only, is not available in conjunction with any other offer and may only be used once per customer order. Discount or £ saving is only valid for orders or purchases of £750 or above excluding delivery charges, postage charges, courier charges, sofa collection charges or premier care fees if applicable. Discount or voucher code is valid for 12 weeks only from date of publication online or issue date of magazine unless specified. Refunds will not be given for money discounted using voucher codes. Offer applies to online and instore orders and purchases and may be withdrawn at any time and without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Ex-Display items have been displayed and used in-store therefore we offer these items at a reduced price. We check each item of ex-display furniture to ensure it's free from major defects however the furniture will not be in new condition as the reduction in price reflects. Please note we do not accept returns on sold as seen, clearance and ex-display items. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Free Sofa Collection Offer
We will collect old sofa of equivalence size at the time of delivery of new one. If two have been ordered we can collect up to 2. All sofas that meet Sue Ryder's specification will be donated. Your donations deliver care. Collection costs usually start from £120.00.
Free Interior Advisory Service Offer
Usually this service costs £250 and is refundable on orders over £8000. This Spring for a limited period only, we are offering the service completely FREE of charge. Please note the promotional period home visits will be free for addresses within 20 mile radius of a Wesley Barrell showroom in mainland UK only.
Ideally we would always recommend a visit to your local showroom first in order to discuss the variety of options available but ,if this is not possible ,then the decision to visit the customer’s home remains solely with the company or designated representative.
Free visit applies to maximum of two rooms.
